Jose "Joe" C. Ayuyu is the President and Owner/Operator of McDonald's of Guam and McDOnald's of Saipan. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Joe spent many years working for the government and private sectors. In 1992, he sought out the chance to become a Franchisee of, what would become, the first McDonald's restaurant on Saipan. In 1993, he joined the McDonald's system as a Franchisee and Owner/Operator for McDonald's of Saipan. The first restaurant opened in Chalan Laulau on March 18, 1993 and has remained in business for nearly 27 years. In 1996, Ayuyu opened a second McDonald's restaurant location in the tourist district of Garapan.
In 2014, Marcia Ayuyu (wife of Joe Ayuyu) joined her husband as Owner/Operator for the McDonald's restaurants on Saipan. Together, they focused on running an efficient business operation and began giving back to their community.
In May 2016, the Ayuyu's fulfilled one of their long-term goals to expand their business ventures through their acquisition of six McDonald's restaurants on the neighboring island of Guam. Today, McDonald's of Guam and Saipan remains one of the largest employers in the Marianas with a total of eight McDonald's restaurants.

Since then, Joe has dedicated his time to running an efficient business operation while fulfilling his passion of giving back to his home island. In May 2016, Joe fulfilled one of his long-term goals by expanding his business ventures into the Guam market with the acquisition of six additional McDonald's restaurants on the neighboring island of Guam. In addition to running his restaurants, he has dedicated his time to philanthropic work, donating to various public, private and vocational schools and non-profit organizations. He has also held several leadership positions including Former Chairman for the Bank of Saipan and Former President for the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, to name a few. In 1998, Joe was named "Businessperson of the Year" by the Saipan Chamber of Commerce. In January 2017, he was named "2016 Executive of the Year" by Guam Business Magazine.
Marcia Ayuyu is the wife of Joe Ayuyu and Vice-President, Owner/Operator of JCA Inc. dba McDonald's of Saipan. She has been with the company since the first McDonald's of Saipan restaurant opened in 1993. Since then, Marcia has served as General Manager for the McDonald's Middle Road Restaurant on Saipan, becoming a brand ambassador for the company. She is known for her numerous philanthropic efforts and extensive community involvement over the years. In 2014, she was awarded the title of "Owner/Operator" by the McDonald's Corporation. In the years following, she has been recognized for her outstanding work in the business community. In 2012, she was nominated for First Hawaiian Bank's "Businesswoman of the Year" Award on Guam. In 2014, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce awarded her the title of "Businessperson of the Year", an award received by only a handful of women leaders in the CNMI. She is a recipient of the "Rotarian of the Year" for her commitment to making a positive difference for the people and island of Saipan. To date, Marcia is an active member of the Rotary Club of Saipan and a member of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce.
Joe Erra Ayuyu Jr. is the Vice President for McDonald's of Guam and Saipan which includes 8 restaurants with over 450 employees. Joe is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business: Economics in 2014 and a graduate of McDonald’s Hamburger University in 2016 and he is one of the 2019 Guam Business Journal’s 40 Most Influential Young Business Persons ender 40. Joe has 7 years of experience learning from the ground up the family’s business of McDonald’s restaurants… working all the different stations in the restaurant kitchen and holding managerial roles of shift manager, General Manager, and Area Supervisor. In August of 2019, Joe was reassigned to Guam to supervise McDonald’s of Yigo and at the same time shadow his father in running the company. Joe is no stranger to the community. He served as Vice Chairman for the Saipan Zoning Board in 2019 and twice-Chairman for the CNMI Liberation Day Committee in 2019 and 2018. He is a 2016 Graduate of the Pacific Century Fellows-Marianas Chapter and represented the CNMI in the 2015 South Pacific Games as part of the National Va'a Canoeing Team.
Natalie Mable Ayuyu Glenn is the Executive Assistant to the President for McDonald's of Guam & Saipan providing upper management level support and serving as liaison between the McDonald's Corporation and the McDonald's of Guam and Saipan organization. She is involved in new program deployments, operations restaurant technology deployments and assists in special projects including restaurant renovation planning. She has been with the company since 2012. Mable is a member of the Independent Loan Review Committee for the CNMI Small Business Development Committee (a branch of the Commonwealth Development Authority). She is a former Board Member for the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, Karidat Social Services, the Northern Marianas College Foundation and her alma mater, Mount Carmel School. She is the founding Chairwoman for the "Saipan Young Professionals" and 2015 Graduate of the Pacific Century Fellows-Marianas Chapter. She has been featured on Guam Business Magazine's Annual "40 Under 40" Issue, recognizing up-and-coming young professionals on the islands of Guam and Saipan. She is a graduate of Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii with a Bachelor Arts Degree in Business Administration.
Ashley Ayuyu is the Human Resources Director for McDonald's of Guam. Ashley began her career in Human Resources in 2015 as an HR Assistant for McDonald’s of Saipan. Following the Ayuyu’s acquisition of 6 McDonald’s of Guam restaurants in May 2016, she moved to Guam and was promoted to Human Resources Director. In her current role, she is responsible for all resource and recruitment planning for approximately 400 employees and serves as the first point of contact for all employee-related issues. In addition, she ensures the organization's compliance with current labor and Human Resource-related laws. Ashley was appointed to the “Guam Workforce Development Board” in 2017 and is a current member of the Guam Society of Human Resources and Guam Young Professionals. She is a graduate of Mount Carmel School in Saipan and attended the University of Nevada in Reno. To date, Ashley is the youngest of the Ayuyu children to join in the family business and will be celebrating 6 years with McDonald’s in 2021.
Pacifico Martir Jr. is the QSC Director for the McDonald's Restaurants of Guam. He started his career in 1973 as a Crew Member. At just 16 years old, he took the opportunity to work in a restaurant environment that was fast-paced and that allowed him to meet new people. He soon found his passion in McDonald's. Throughout his 45 years with the company, he's held numerous positions including Crew, Crew Trainer, Red Hat, Swing Trainee, 1st Assistant Manager, General Manager and Area Supervisor. In May 2016, he was named "QSC Director", a role responsible for overseeing the top management team and operations of the six McDonald's restaurants on Guam. To date, Pacifico says the best part of working for McDonald's is the people. He enjoys working with and getting to know his customers and employees. He attributes much of his personal growth to McDonald's, where he's always learning something new.
Ana Olaes is the Human Resources Manager for McDonald's of Saipan. She began her career with McDonald’s in 1997, 24 years ago, and has held various administrative positions prior to her current role. In her current role, Ana is responsible for employee recruitment and retention and managing approximately 100 employees. Ana is a member of the Saipan Society of Human Resources and Saipan Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Customs Administration from PMI College in the Philippines.
Divina Evaristo is the Marketing Manager for McDonald's of Guam and Saipan. She manages all in-store and community marketing/promotional events for the organization. She began her career as a Crew Member at a McDonald's Guam restaurant in 1976 and has been dedicated to McDonald's since, working during summer vacations until graduation. Divina has an extensive past work experience that stem from adminitrative/secretary work to holding managerial positions within the field of Marketing. She's held several key management positions including Store Activities Rep, Community Relations Rep and Marketing Consultant, to name a few. Divina is married to Michael and has 3 children (Stephen, Jessica and Larry) and 5 grandchildren (Sierra, Madi, Maraea, Evan and Ava) with whom she enjoys spending time with..
Marissa Obtinalla is the Accounting Manager for McDonald's Guam and Saipan, overseeing all areas relating to financial reporting for the Saipan and Guam operations. She also monitors all purchasing and inventory for levels for the restaurant operations. She has been with the company since 1998. Prior to joining McDonald's of Saipan, Marissa worked as an accountant for private construction companies in Manila and was an Accountant for a local hotel on Saipan. Marissa has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Manila and received her CPA Board Certification in 1989.
Majellyn C. Calceta, the first to hold the title of Training Coordinator for JCA Inc. and JCA Guam LLC. She started at McDonald's Corporation at the age of 16 as a crew member. She became the Administrative Assistant in 2005 when the Guam Main Office selected her for the position. In 2008, Pacifico Martir, Area Supervisor for the Corporation then, appointed Calceta to become the Human Resources and Purchasing Consultant for the Guam Market. When JCA Guam LLC acquired McDonald's of Guam from the corporation in 2016, the Owner/Operator and President Joe Ayuyu envisioned his organization to have a Subject Matter Expert, Calceta's positive attributes didn't go unnoticed. Calceta attained various classes and training through McDonald's e-Learning virtual classes, called CAMPUS. Trainer Success, Physical Skills, and Image Training to name a few. In January 2017, Calceta led the very first empowered class called Leadership Transitions. She recently became a Registered ServSafe Examination Proctor, another first for the JCA Guam LLC organization.
Narme Mendoza is the IT Administrator for McDonald's of Guam and Saipan, providing information technology/technical support for the office and restaurant operations. She managers all technology-based equipment to ensure efficiency within the stores. Narme has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Systems Plus Computer College in Balibago, Angeles City, Philippines and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of the Assumption in Pampanga, Philippines. Narme is an active volunteer for several community organizations and events including the Rotary Club of Saipan and the Dept. of Environmental Quality Island Wide Beach Clean-Ups. She is a former PTSA President for Green Meadow School and Vice President for the Computer Society in Angeles City, Philippines.
